Opportunities for Growth

     All of us desire to be well-rounded individuals...mentally, physically, and spiritually.  To help develop the spiritual dimension of your life, we have given this page 3 different subtitles:

1. Winning:  In this area, we want to give you diffferent opportunities to reach the millions of people influenced by sports.
2. Building:  Just as an athlete spends time training to develop physically, Christians need to spend time developing their relationship with God.
3. Sending:   Life's biggest victory is found in a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Check here for "getting into the game" both locally, stateside and around the world!

• AIA Small Group Leaders:  February 12th at 9 PM in the McKissick Theatre...meet with other small group leaders for ideas on being effective in evangelism.

• Thought for the day.  Read Luke 17: 11 - 19.  Only the one Samaritan leper who was healed returned to thank Jesus for his healing.  Take a few minutes and make a list of things that you might take for granted that God has given you that you can be thankful for today. 

• March 3 - 5.  Get in the Game Weekend.  Juniors and Seniors...this is for you!  Ever thought about going into to full-time Christian work using your gifts as an athlete, trainer, sportswriter, SID., etc?  The weekend takes place at our national headquarters in Xenia, OH and will cost you only a registration fee of $20.  For more details go to www.aia.com and Get in the Game Weekend.
• March 18 - 23.  Do Daytona 2006.  Opportunity for fun and for putting your faith into action.  Daytona Beach FL.  Cost is only $190 and accomodations are right on the beach.  More detail later!
